Emergency system

So my Mom, aged 89, broke her ankle a month ago and came home from the hospital last week. My dad can't handle everything so I've moved into a back bedroom to handle it. After a few days the dust has settled, so this evening I scrounged up some gear to make a little system to use for low listening and sound for netflix. It's a Yamaha rack system receiver and a pair of mid 90's polk 2 ways. I did the classic happy face EQ. I admit that I'm as happy as a clam: Helping out the folks, but can retire to my little lair and enjoy some halfway decent, near field sound.

Massive upgrade: The Yammy started to drop the right channel out so I went into my stash and grabbed an NAD 7400 power envelope receiver. 100 wpc and tone controls that work way better then the Yammy's EQ. Really nice sound.

You gotta do, what you gotta do.
Nice setup and hoping for a quick recovery!
