Equipment for bench testing

I paid ~900 from the bay. I was mainly after the low distortion oscillator. Think he has one left, one could probably get it for a lower offer.
Opened up the bottom tonight, there were dust bison in there!
A HUGE cloud of dust came out of it when I blew it out with compressed air. This is after vacuuming it with a fine brush attachment.
I was checking it out last night, it didn't test much different than the one tested here:

I think it will be a good instrument. Plus, it's not that heavy~

after cleaning

I blew out all the dust and brushed out the sticky stuff. The difference from my first pic ( 1kHz, 100 mV 80kHz filter) is pretty good.

I'm looking pretty hard at a Stanford Research Systems model SR1 audio analyzer to replace my old Sound Tech analyzer. Here the link: http://www.thinksrs.com/products/SR1.htm

Would you happen to have an opinion on the relative merits of that product?

Hi,

I was wondering if you ever went with the SRS SR1...
It seems very cool for a stand-alone box -- the R&S UPV is $$$ and excellent, I would imagine!
