Expressimo VTA for my Rega is here

OK maybe I'm moving into the vinyl addict stage of my life. Got my Expressimo VTA (Express Machining) adjuster for my Rega. Very easy install and setup. Here you see it as the blue threaded sleeve.

Here is the before and after picture of what the VTA adjuster actually does. You are raising the back of the tone arm. On the left the back of the cartridge is to low. After raising the back of the tone arm the cartridge is now level with the vinyl.

To get that small amount of change at the cart I raised the rear of the tone arm this much. I pushed the Rega black outer cover sleeve down to meet the VTA adjuster. Now it looks more factory.

Ward cool looking toy. What method did you use to check if the arm is parallel to the Lp? Or in fact is it parallel?

I did not go by the tone arm position. I used a jeweler's loop to look at the stylus to determine when it was positioned perpendicular to the vinyl.
