Fabled RTR Towers on eBay - just wow!

You may never come across another pair in your lifetime. I believe these were owned by a nice older gentleman in the Spokane area that had a Hauptwerk organ web site.

If nothing else, copy the photos of them as none exist on any of the RTR speaker web sites. This is kind of like that pair of speakers that a friend's friend told you about and the trail ended there.

Years ago, I acquired a pair of the 25" woofers but that's as close as I ever got ...

Well, they do go to 11.

woofer w/11lb Alnico V magnet. the midrange are Rola, the tweets are made in Denmark. These are capable of reproducing down to 11 hz at extreme spl.

First time I've heard of these. You don't see that every day!

Now for my nitpicks.

Kinda odd for a $6000 opening bid item not to have any pics of the back and sides.

It seems like those parallel vertical arrays would just cause a mess of comb filtering...or am I wrong?

Also the rear mounted mids and tweets - I've always wondered what that does to diffraction and dispersion.
