I've been enjoying this British, Murder Mystery show for the last few weeks.

Set in the early 50's, a rogue Priest solves murders in his small English village (with an apparent murder rate that rivals modern Detroit), much to the dislike of the Church and local Police Inspector.

Fun and simple, with the occasional wild leap of logic, Mark Williams plays the title role to perfection.

I tried to watch this but bailed before the first episode ended. I have read the FB short stories and this adaptation came off lacking.

Most adaptations do, I haven't read the books so maybe that's an advantage in this case.

I guess Erik(c)s think alike; I'm binging on Father Brown via Netflix, too!

    On season 4 now.:)

if you like British mysteries on Netflix, try unforgotten, endeavor (UK "u" removed by AK spellchecker)
the prequel to Inspector Morse (pilot plus 5 seasons - not all available on Netflix), River,
Wallender, the Fall (esp if you like Gillian with her native Scottish accent), and Sherlock.
