Favorite song by an ex Beatle?

It's not a solo song, but I always liked "End of the Line" by Harrison and the Traveling Wilburys. As I get older, it nice to have an upbeat song about the golden years.

Ringo Star: I am the Greatest. (written by John Lennon)
John Lennon: too many to mention.
Paul McCartney: none to note
George Harrison: What Is Life

Hope this helps!

What a great idea for a thread.

It would be tough to name one for John and Paul, because they made so many great ones. I don't know enough of George's tunes. Ringo, I'm a little more familiar with.

I can't name a favorite anything, really! The closest I can get, is favorites. But two songs I really love are "Hold On" by John, and "My Love" by Paul.

I'm rather fond of Mull Of Kintyre by Paul McCartney and Wings.

Great song about a favorite place. I even think the bagpipes are well done.

I'm going to name multiple by each ex-Beatle:

John: How? Imagine, Isolation
Paul: Maybe I'm Amazed, Live and Let Die, Daytine Nighttime Suffering
George: I'd Have You Anytime, Give Me Love, Blow Away
Ringo: Photograph, It Don't Come Easy

John,working class hero
Paul,everynight
George,my sweet lord
I dont know much at all about ringo's solo work

Oh, eljr!!! Blasphemy!! lol...

I'd like to be hip and say it isn't Macca, but it is. I really like "The End Of The End" from "Memory Almost Full". For Bobsvinyl, it's another "end of the line" type song. Check it out here

I'd consider Ringo my least favorite Beatle when they were The Beatles.

Having said that, I'll have to say that It Don't Come Easy is either my favorite or second favorite post-Beatles Beatle song.
