My first post on this forum !

A couple of months ago I bought a sansui au-719 secondhand (140 euro), I'm very happy with this amp. I thought it was running a bit hot though, so after some reading in this excellent forum I found that maybe the DC and bias needed adjusting (I'm still in learning phase, thnx to Echowars for good read about this).
Firts time with a multi-meter too !
The DC on the speaker outlets were around 10 mV and 40 mV, I adjusted them (friggin sensitive turn-thingy inside) to 0.5 each. Bias was about 50 mV, adjusted it to 20. The amp is running somewhat cooler now. The only thing I didn't like on the amp was the flimsy power cord, so I took the trusty 'ol dremel and cut a hole in the back for a normal plug.

ps rest of audio-stuff:
pioneer tx6200 tuner (very old, nice blue display)
denon dcd755ar cdp (new, but i modified it a bit (bitumen, got rid of muting transistors etc)
sansui au-719 amp
cat5 speaker cable
2 way transmission line diy (but not by me) speakers with davis units.

That's it, enjoy your music.
