Picked this guy up today along with a pair of Fisher speakers for $15.99! I could only find a brief mention of it here http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-76566.html

I'd like to hear more about it, if you've got one too. :)

All channels working....haven't checked phono/tape stages yet. It sure cleaned up nice.....learned real quick about the white paint coming off :D.

dude, i dont know what the deal is but the back of that unit looks ALOT like a HK 50+ receiver i've been messing with. was fisher sleeping with HK in the early 70's?

same layout, same speaker terminals strips with the funny fan shaped tabs, three fuses, yadda yadda

Is there a list on here somewhere of the old Fisher speakers? I searched for the floorstanders (GS-122) from about 40-45 years ago and got no hits. They were our living room speakers for 20 years and now have been moved out to a bedroom. Big suckers that still do their job whenever the neighbor's dog goes crazy.
