Fisher 1961 Statesmen Provincal II console

Hello,
My name is Larry and I just joined this group yesterday. Hopefully, someone can shed some light on an apparetnly extremely rare 1961 Fisher Statesmen Provincal II console stereo that I'm considering buying, although according to the owner, it only sends out bass signals to the speakers.
I can't find a single example of it anywhere on the web. I found reference to other Fisher consoles on this site, but not the exact same model.
Has anyone had any experience in this model or know a resource I could use?

Hi Larry and welcome! I loved those consoles in the early days. My dad had a large console made by Churchill. One had Pilot electronics and the other had Fisher electronics, Jensen speakers and a Garrard changer. They sounded great. It's possible that the amplifier needs to be recapped or the tweeters could be blown. If it looks good to you it could be a fun project. Good luck!
