I need help with fuse replacement , i turn stereo on it played for about 5 mins, and then 0 So decided to check the fuse and i think it is the wrong one. According to diagram on the back of console it is 1 5 a but the one i took out of receiver reads 1 and 1 half could this be the reason amp went off? Need help.:scratch2:

You're using too many numerals. So what your saying is the fuse blew, you checked the diagram and it shows to be a 5A fuse. But the one you found is a 1-1/2A or 1.5A fuse.

That is your problem. Kinda like trying to start a 18 wheeler with a Honda Accord Battery. Overloading the fuse is NOT a Good Thing.

Get the CORRECT FUSE. Go to Ratshack locally and get a 125V 5A pack. If they don't have that, get the 250V 5A pack.

Put in the fuse, and turn it on. Attach the rest of the fuses to the back of the console with a zipbag. You'll probably never need another, but you never know.

And take a few pictures of the Executive, and post them with a bit of history behind it, please.
