Fisher 203 beats Sony 90's midrange quality

Amazingly, the Fisher 203 I picked up cheap a few weeks ago, sounds better with CDs than the Sony STR-D590 tuner/amp that I had before!

Strings (Corelli) sound so much better, there is much more detail in the midrange and in the higher part of the scale with violins, the Sony was screechy and had a crayon-like level of detail - while the Fisher is so much more nuanced.

The Fisher really opened up the DCM TimeWindows I am using - funny enough, they sound better hooked up improperly (L is R and R is L, going to fix that) than the Sony did hooked up correctly.
