Fisher Futura 202 pops when turned on

I picked up a Fisher Futura 202 Receiver at a GS and when I turn it on I get a pop from the speakers. I've cleaned all the pots and switches and will be doing a recap but is there anything else I should be looking at to eliminate the pop.

Thanks

sounds like you got DC on the outputs. try checking dc offset spec. thats the dc across the spkr trmnls at zero vol no input on aux. should be <=20mv, idealy zero.
your rcvr may have diff. spec.

You could switch off the speakers when you turn it on. If the unit doesn't have a protection relay, it's going to pop.

Another possibility is if there is a cap across the power switch. If bad, then you will hear a pop.

When I powered it on both terminals had 13 volts on them and then gradually dropped down to .2 volts. Any suggestions? Also looking for the service manual.

Thanks
