So I found this oddity of a table yesterday at my hole in the wall record store.
Seems to be a euro market only item. Japanese made.
Uses a large strip of magnets to keep the platter at the correct speed. I hear no rumble or hum while it's playing. It's essentially silent in that department which is fantastic.
I also love the looks and build quality.
I know 80's fisher studio standard gear is mostly designated as BPC around here. But I genuinely feel this tables is a few notches higher than that.
I'll take pictures of the motor when I get off work today.
