Forgot to switch off Sansui AU-9900A for couple of days

I think for the most part after about 6 hours the amps operation and temp will have stabilized. After that its just burning up 48 hrs of its life. SS amps have a very long life. And with 1 on-off cycle in 48 hrs, It might do less harm than 12 hrs normal use with 6 on-off cycle's.

If you were using a tube amp with multiple expensive power tubes operating at close to maximum power (giving them a short life) then lt might be frustrating. But even then, if the amp were in good condition and well ventilated, I doubt it would be a problem for a few days.

Might be a good idea ( if you have the tools & skills ) to verify bias & DC offset when she's toasty like that.....
