I had a M504 for a couple years, what a beautiful sounding amp. Now another AK'er is enjoying it from New Hampshire. I still have a parts unit that I wish would magically be reborn

It is a monster indeed. They say ship weight is 160lbs, but buying and shipping it recently says actual weight is 160lbs. Takes 2 to move it safely.

I think they were the best at mating beauty with industrial, at the time.

You are just itching to hear them both working perfectly and can't wait for that moment. It will come and then you can allow the enjoyment of listening to carry all your cares away.

Yes indeed, it is time. The tease, taste I had back in October was just that. I'm looking forward to the full course soon.

Flashback to a moment when I refinished this case, saving the portion of original sticker in the course of it. Was a gross mess beforehand.

He wasn't. Most of what I need is transistors and diodes. He said they don't handle that stuff.
Thanks anyway, though. Was worth a try.

Excellent Classé CP-60 preamp back from repair fronting the system. It's quite a good pre, man does it have gain!

Kudos! Love the Classe gear. I met a fellow in Oshawa a few years back. Was up visiting family and through them I was invited back to their home for drinks and political chat..... The most impressive thing of the evening wasn't his nice home or restored '30s Chev but his audio system; Classe albeit vintage with a pair of the big Thiel speakers... I believe they were Thiel - perhaps Kef but I'll stick to Thiel... Yes.. Thiel...

He had the jazz, blues etc. playing and for the life of him couldn't understand how anyone listens to rap/hip hop... One interesting topic of discussion let me tell ya...LOL

The Classé is excellent, even beating out the Denon from my impressions so far. Superb inner level detail and harmonics. Well there really isn't anything to stand in the way, which is why these details are coming out so well. The bottom end is more detailed and tuneful too.
