I'm excited - tomorrow night I'm headed to see a bluesman I'm not familiar with at all - Guy Davis.
You can read about him here:

He rec'd a "Bluesman of the Year" award back in 98 or 99. And I've read a lot of articles about his music, and all give glowing remarks.
I'll be in the front row in a small 240 seat venue (a library theater). This place puts on a great series of concerts. I sat in the 3rd row back around Thanksgiving to see one of my all-time favs Leon Redbone. The setting is awesome. We also caught a Celtic Christmas concert, and will be going in March to see a jazz ensemble Hot Club of San Francisco.
I'm sure I'll buy a cd or two at the show, so I'll give you a review. Wish I could think of a way to record a bootleg of the show. I wonder if those new Olympus Digital Recorders that I see in Office Max and Office Depot ads are any good? Hmmm.....
