Best solution is cork and granite. I even use those stick-on cork or felt furniture pads from the local HDWE store to keep things from scratching one another. Wood is a PITA to keep nice. Granite don't need no work. Comes to you all purty and stays that way. Just like your kitchen countertop. I understand that they also help with ones CDP. Think I'll try that next. With a little cork and felt to keep things nice.
