In what seems another lifetime I worked as an audio repair tech First at a small chain out of Fargo, which is gone now "stereoland" (not the minneapolis Stereoland) then out in La Meas CA "Mad Jacks Stereo Discount center" (also gone). After that I moved into the Medical field, Worked for Siemens Medical for 26 years. Now retired. I am enjoying repairing some old equip and building DIY speakers. (I love woodworking)
Thought I would say hello! currently i'm finishing up a McIntosh C28 and in the wings is a totally beat up SAE 31B power amp

    Cheers Ron W

Another Mad Jacks survivor... cool! Only spent a short time there myself (two different 6 month stints, one in the late 70's and another in the late 80's) but what an education that was (mostly what not to do, if I'm honest).

    Welcome to AK!

Was that the same Stereoland as Bismarck?
