Great forum, have had a good read I have the following Arcam kit ive been given to repair:
Arcam Delta 70.3 CD Player - Now fixed. Simple this one, dirty leaf switch for tray open detection, dirty laser and re-grease of moving transport parts. Now performs as new
Great sound too.
Arcam Delta 290 Amplifier - This is next on my list, it has a few issues that are noticeable - Scratchy volume control, Input selector also has a similar issue producing "crackles" when changing inputs. Also appears to have lower sound level from the right channel - I haven't measured the output voltages yet.
Any way, just wanted to say hi, im sure ill be asking questions soon!
