I did do a quick seach at ebay if it was worth anything

You can get fully restored units for €10- €30. Not worth it to me.

On a serious note, that thing would've looked great in someone's mid century modern kitchen.

I'm all over mid-century stuff, as is my oldest daughter. I'd have picked that up in a heartbeat, even if it doesn't work.

There is a bar on the Nashville Broadway strip that has at least a hundred radios like that from the 30's to 60's on shelves. Some really cool stuff.
