Just getting into vintage audio, bought a few, but I have a few pieces that I bought new..... that are now "vintage":).

Now playing:
Sansui 9090 receiver
Nakamichi MB-4s 7-disk cd player
JVC TD-W805 dual tape player and EQ
4 Realistic Mach Ones

Son's Rig:
Vector Research VR-5000 Receiver
Phillips DVD player :boring:
MCS EQ
Pair of ADS 410e
JBL PSW-1000 powered subwoofer

"Extras"
Boston Acoustics Center channel, pair of Design Acoustics Rears.
Nakamichi AV-2 receiver (ol' skool 5.1) that I might use to upgrade my currently pathetic surround sound system.

Broke stuff I still keep around:
Dual 506 Belt drive turntable w/ shure cartridge - no needle
Sansui 9900Z receiver - suspect bad transformer otherwise cherry!

Currently buying:
Kenwood Model 7 speakers

Well, that's about it. Hope to talk to some of you in the future!

Welcome!

You should look into getting a stylus for that Shure and listen to some vinyl to see what you think!

Welcome to AK! You've definitely come to the right place! Your list of equipment reminds me of the "projects" that I have waiting too. Alot of my vintage equipment wasn't vintage when I bought it either. But vintage or not, it does honor the music and that's what it's all about! Welcome and enjoy the forums! :thmbsp:
