Hi all, i have been lurking on AK for some time. I really enjoy the forums and have read much! Anytime a piece of gear shows up for sale here i first research it by checking out AK forums to see what you all have to say about it. I have learned so much reading the posts on AK, as i am by no means a audiophile, so i would like to thank AK and it's members for enlightening me on vintage stereo electronics!

Welcome to AK. You guys have internet up there?

Hey now!

The Internet was born there.

Back in the early 90s, I was in college and HECN was the biggest node on the planet.
I worked in the computer center at UND.
They had more junk wired together across the whole state than you can imagine.
From 286 PCs to main frames.
Student labs to research to administration.
Both academic and ND gov't machines.
All inter-connected and working.

Hey there UND alumni too!! I was there in the mid 80s, go Sioux!!

I remember my 1st pizza burger flying style!! I had just got my drivers license and went to the drive thru with my 72 Grand Prix. Big fan to this day, got to have gravy too!!

Gravy with the shoestrings.

They are the only place I know that has shoestrings.

72 Grand Prix, new lisence, hmmm.
You may be old enough to remember the A&W by the Memorial Bridge. Did you ever get the curly fries there? I have never found anything like those things.

I’m class of 78 Century.
