can't take me anywhere
Hey all, just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Gil, I just turned 55, live on the Kansas side of the Kansas City, Mo area and have recently returned to my love of audio after a 25 year absence. Work, family life and aging equipment distracted me for awhile. A lot of thing have changed in the audio world since I've been gone so I'm playing catch-up. A lot of the new AV stuff looks like junk to me but there has also been some amazing upgrades in speaker cable, interconnects, power conditioners, power cords and all the stuff we used to consider just the details.
Anyway, my system is a work in progess and I'm going to be pumping you all for a lot of information and opinions and hopefully being able to help when I can. Thanks AK & fellow members.
