Hey. Found a link in another thread here on AK and I tried to follow it, only to find it takes me to an Error page. Is there anyway to find the original thread? It appears to have been an archived thread even when the link was posted 4 years ago. I checked the search forums and didn't see a separate archive forums, so guess it should be part of the main forum?? Anyway, the post was to some details about updating the crossover in ADS M12 / M15 speakers, I think, and the link was:

Original Poster likely deleted the thread for whatever annoying reason.

Hmm, guess it could be. Though, from the link it was already an older thread I assume, from the "archive" part of the URL, so seems strange someone would come along and delete a years old thread for no particular reason.

I had been thinking it might have something to do with the AK format change, or some update or other that caused some older links to no longer work. Since I don't know the title to the older thread I thought someone more familiar with the system might be able to make use of the link somehow to find the thread.

Ah well. I'll check back later to see if anyone else can help, but will assume for now there's nothing to be done about it. So thanks anyway.

Yeah, already read that thread, and most of the other easy to find ones mentioning the crossover of the M12 / M15. That's why I was searching for harder to find info now.
Cool and thanks. I've heard of the archive.org, but never think of it when needed I'm afraid.

I would bet that that is the same thread that is referenced in the "archive" link.

In any case, why don't we just ask @soundmotor ?

It's not. Was easy to read the archive.org thread once I knew to check there and it's clearly different, despite both being about ADS M12 speakers with mentions about the crossover.

www.archive.org's Wayback Machine is invaluable with only one catch -- one must have the URL of the kaput web page of interest.
