hi gang,
the lovable bloodhound in my avatar photo is slowly but surely destroying my life. long story short, lately the poor girl hasn't had quite as much exercise as she needs with the frigid winter we're having here in the upper midwest and i guess boredom got the best of her today while i was at work. i came home to find that she had destroyed my marantz mph-2 headphones. (these headphones are always around and she's never messed with them or showed any interest in them.) as you can see from the photos, the 50mm drivers could still be recovered, and the pads aren't destroyed either. i'm not a DIY expert by any means, but i know enough to be dangerous and i wouldn't mind putting these parts to good use. any ideas about what to do with these things? i've ordered replacement headphones, but i hate to just throw away some potentially useful parts, you know? thanks in advance for any suggestions!
