All tubes are Eico by Mullard

Thanks!

Well, it's not an EICO HF-12 (or HF-12A). The HF-12 has the tall tubes (EL84 and the rectifier) mounted on an angle to reduce height. It also lacks the pilotlight.

It has EICO knobs, though, it appears.

I don't think it is a Heathkit EA-2 or EA-3, either. I don't see a pilot light.

Maybe Radio Shack or (even, perhaps) Allied (Knight)?

Has a Stromberg Carlson look from here? From the back it does, in the front shot, definitely EICO.

Edit, ok, those are Doc's pics of the Eico, the first post looks S/C to me.

... but I've never seen an EICO integrated with EL84s in it that looked like the titular amplifier under the hood.
It would be nice (helpful) to see the back apron.

EDIT: Here's another, borrowed photo of an HF-12 from (ahem) behind...

The HF-12A was identical to the 12 inside, with different knobs, front panel cosmetics, and cage cosmetics.

The only other EL84 mono integrated from EICO that I know of was the HF-32, which was push-pull parallel (four EL84 outputs) and which had five knobs on the front panel.

Is there one of which I am not aware/am forgetting about??

Could be EICO oem for an electronics training course.

Looks very close to both the Heathkit and Eico, but no real match.

Came from the estate of a guy who had a lot of Heathkit (Heathkit HR-10B, IG-18, ET-3100), Eico VTVM's, an Allied Knight SpanMaster, all known kit names.

If I never find out what it is, that's okay. A schematic is always nice, but given the tubes used (assuming they are correct), looks like it could be a decent amp.

Thanks to all.

We'll power it up tomorrow and see if she sings.

Very respectably sized output iron, which was moderately rare in kit amps with pp EL84s.

'tis a puzzlement, that amp -- I looked at Heathkits, EICO, Knight, Radio Shack, and (since Jay mentioned 'em) S-C amplifiers and didn't see one like it.

I am going to go out on a limb and say it is an Eico HF12 that was built on a custom chassis so that the inputs go in the side instead of the rear. Possibly just to shorten up the rather long input leads. Everything about all the components of that amp just screams HF12 to me.
