Help me find a new (used) universal player!

Long story short: for the past couple of years I've been using a Marantz DV-6600 for CD and SACD playback in my 2-channel system. It's a good player, very smooth and listenable, but I'm thinking it's a bit too "laid back" with my somewhat warm-sounding system. It's always good, but never exciting. And I'm just getting bored...

So I'm looking for a new universal player that will give me a little "wow" factor on a very tight budget. Of what I've seen lately in the used market in my cheapskate price range the following are appealing to me:

Denon DVD-3930
Sony DVP-NC555ES
Integra DPC-8.3 (or the carousel version, DPC-8.5)

Anyone have experience of any of these players? The Denon is the only one with HDCD playback, although I'm not sure how much difference that makes. I've thought about looking for a higher-end CD only player, and kepping the Marantz for hi-rez, but I really want a "one box" solution. Which would you recommend for a 2-channel only vintage system? Any thoughts appreciated.
