So just realized the tweeter in my PSB Image C60 center channel speaker has very low volume. Swapped it out with my T65 tweeter, and all was well. So the C60 tweeter is BAD.

    PSB Tweeter # TW1-3 ANC

Anybody have knowledge or advice for a replacement, OEM or parts express?

Not sure as to sell off the speaker as is, or pony up a repair.

I have a pair of Image 2Bs that have had their tweeters replaced with Vifa tweeters.

    They are one of these:

They were a direct swap but a bit different in design. Fabric rather than aluminum and if I recall the Vifa was about 2 or 3 dB more sensitive than the originals.

I've been enjoying these for several years like this and I think they sound great though they likely don't sound identical to original.

Not sure if these are close enough but I can pull one if you are interested to confirm exactly which ones I have.

That is so interesting, I just happened to notice both of these as options today, due to size, and screw hole distance. The cheaper one for $11, has a lower sensitivity, but probably matches in volume. The $20 one has a higher, so maybe a need for a low resistor 1 or 2 ohm?

If you have one already, than yes it would be interesting to verify which. Thank You.

Also, just as an added FWIW, the tweeter that is in my T65 floors, has the same PSB Tweeter # "TW1-3 ANC" as above, except without that last "C" (Center?).

I would try a Vifa or Dayton first. I just bought a poly Peerless last week and found better detail from my old Dynavox fabric tweeter.
