Having no head, then, I assume Mike was a fan of Double Blind Testing?
Isn't voting politicking?
Mike loved music, but he only had one ear left, so he listened to primarily mono. So not much DBT for him. He did have more philosophical pursuits. He spent his remaining days contemplating "Which came first, The Chicken or The Egg." I am not sure he ever came up with a definitive answer.
Vote has been cast, tho it wasn't easy. Some fine people here.
We all deserve a vote for making AK so great.
My golly... this will be a tough one. There's so many decent people on here.... Good luck to all!
I voted for (...) but I wish I could have voted for Ronnie.
You still could.
Didn't Zilch get Member of the Year posthumously?
I voted for ...... nuh-uh-uhhhhhhhhhhh! Can't say.
No. Zilch, Member of the Year 2010, died in 2011.
Zilch left this mortal coil on Feb 4, 2011. The voting for the Member of the Year, for 2010, closed on March 6, 2011.
So I was wrong.
I'm sorry, Sir.
I, too, thought of Ronnie when voting.
I still kinda like the idea of a sticky "Memorial" thread for outstanding members who have left us.
Certainly, no apology is necessary, Chris. "Only the person who does nothing never makes a mistake."
I was a bit terse in my explanations of the dates. Sometimes a sharp memory is a bit of a curse, as one tends to recall facts, drop them on the table, and leave. Not really very polite, and much less than you deserve.
It is I who apologize to you.
Lots of wonderful folks here so picking one is tough. Back when I first joined one member took the time to PM me with a welcome greeting. I will never forget that kindness.
No objection from me.
I really like that, as I'v learned from so many mistakes in my life.
I also wish we could honor Ronnie in some way.
