IMO they're good! I don't know about $800 good, but $400-500 good. I've had my Heresy I's for a couple of weeks now and I likey. I just got a HK 730 from Zhagerott and they really came to life. Very open and detailed. Much more musical presence than I had before with the SX-650. I'm listening to Santana right now and the percussion is excellent on them. I hear they love tubes also.....maybe someday. You can see mine here:
