LK-150 undergoing rebuild/EFB modification
130 preamp that's somewhat dismembered and awaiting restoration
330D tuner (has a bit of AC leakage to the chassis that I haven't tracked down yet)
335 MPX decoder (on long-term loan from another AKer)
LT-110 tuner

121C mono preamp
122, 130 stereo preamps
355 stereo tuner/preamp
99D, 210D mono integrated amps
299c, 299d, LK72 stereo integrated amps
310, 312, 350 tuners
H1000 tonearm and cartridge

I just gave away the SS stuff :deal:

That H1000 may be a candidate for inclusion on the "list of gear owned by one AKer."

some NICE HHscott gear comeing out of the shadows now..The build quality in my opinion is right up there with the Fishers, aluminum faceplates ,machined aluminum knobs, good shielding and sturdy metal chassis. The size of their OPTs/trafo's is noteable as well. And the sensitivity of their tuners has to be mentioned as well..

Used to have a pair of Scott speakers but they fell by the wayside many years ago.

3 x mono 265A tube amps, uses 4 x 1614 (6L6 metal) outputs, 2x 5U4G rectifiers, and a 6080 series pass tube, can't recall the input and phase splitter tubes are though. They have sat for 10 years awaiting rebuilding.

Not my pic, but from Radiolaguy.com, who has a manual and schematic and mods he did on a pair, great stuff.

There's been a couple of guys in the past who had a few of these too plus the 240, and 280 amps.

Any thread like this needs

340B purchased in good working condition but "restored" as a precautionary measure.
130 in working condition, most caps replaced but still needs some work to complete. Works well enough that I know that it is a great sounding piece.
299C purchased in good working condition, previous owner replaced enough parts to keep it dependable.

Most of the work I did myself and all pieces are in excellent cosmetic condition. I also have two Fisher 400's I won't part with my Fishers or my Scotts.

222C here, refurbished with help from AK. The faceplate and knobs show some signs of abuse in the past, but the internals are perfect.

I don't have the exotic basic amplifiers that cost so very much. But as for integrated amplifiers and tuners, I have most of what Scott made to include some variations within the specific model. Much of this equipment is still in queue awaiting time for me to finish my move to Florida. The stuff is moved, but I am not done yet!

Heres a couple of my HHscott LK-150 and LC-21 just after they were recapped.I have a thread on the LC-21 rebuild on AK showing how it was totally gutted when I bought it.Every resistor, capacitor ,all wireing was redone.

I always bite my tounge when a tube newbie asks what tube amp he should start off with, and thousands of folks rush to extoll Dynaco and Magnavox amps. The more correct, economically justified, and performance based advice would be Eico, Sherwood, Fisher, and HH Scott gear, but then we would see prices soar with the larger demand. It is amazing to witness and hear the quality that was built into these mid line, kit produced pieces of industrial art that are as old as we are, and still working great after a trip to the spa!

One unsung hero is the HH Scott 222C/LK48. It was produced in a good numbers and has decent output. They have output transformers which are as large as the LK72. They are easy to get going and restore.

299c and 350 in African Mahogany cases crafted by Matt and Dan of McCabinets
Whats not to love, Sexy goldtone finish, esoteric naming, its easy to question just connecting a speaker, Cool push/pull on/off switch. Shiny, candy-like buttons, knobs and lamps
