Spkrs Xovers.
soem time back we removed the xovers from the spkrs, so I could biamp more easily and to put in a 4PDT relay in each one so I could switch polarity from my seat. we put them in black pastic jiffy boxes.
depsite this change, and their use of known to be - 'good sounding' and less-microphonic caps, than most (at the time), I would wonder from time to time if putting dried sand in there would help.
Well I did it, one channel first, well It did not take long before I filled the other one.
Are air core hand-wound unpotted inductors microphonic?
Ceiling corner cushions - worth all 12 poster-pins, and my time.
'found-object' cream 10x10 inch cushions, washed.
they went up after a read af a few articles about the commercial triangular versions.
nicer and clearer too.
