On a D800, the DCCS is used to calibrate the Dolby levels. What do the Dolby FM adjustments on the back do then? Are they the 19K pilot signal defeats? Also does the DCCS act like the bias level control on say a Sony, where you can tune the record bias level to the tape formulation more so that the simple 3 position rocker?
