HK Citation 19 Setting Bias Need Help Please

Hello all pretty new here long time lurker but never posted but I need help with the bias offset on my HK citation 19. I have figured out the location of the emitter resistors R3 and R4 on top off the heat sinks. My neophyte question; does it matter if the offset is negative or positive not the meter? I know its 70 mil Volts but should the positive lead (on the meter) be on the R3 or the R4. Cheers and thanks in advance.

If you are using a Digital Multi Meter polarity doesn't matter, with an Analog Meter polarity matters, R3 is positive and R4 is negative.
