Ontheblitz; You like Tabasco sauce than you must try the Family Reserve. It is made with white wine vinegar, and it is barrel aged for 8 years. It is a holy sacrament of The Tabasco Chili. I was on the phone with Avery Island and I pleaded with the lady to bottle this in larger bottles. She said she would past that on.

By the way if you want to make your own Tabasco sauce you can. Tabasco is aged in Oak barrels from Jack Daniel's. You can get chunks of these barrels directly from Jack Daniel's.

Here is one to try. It is very hot, but it has great flavor. It is too hot even for me. I use it to kick up other sauces, and BBQ sauces. I figure the 2 bottles I have will last for a very long time.
