How about a cassette player to match?

Kam

I have never found one thats a great match cosmetically but the Denon DR-M44 kinda blends in. Also some the Naks may float your boat. Now in the RTR department there are a few. Teac X 1000/2000 Technics RS1500/1700 Revox A77.

1) How about one of the JVC's with the black and silver faces that matched their mid/late-1970's receivers with the slide controls and the big blue-lighted meters?

2) Alternatively, how about one of the big black Sansui decks of the late-1970's? I think one was the SC-3110 or something like that.

3) Finally... yeah, a Nakamichi 1000 would probably look OK, too :)

I have a Nak CR4 that matches quite well.

Try a CR3, a CR4, a CR5 and even the CR7.

A Merry Christmas all you Mac people!

Best tape deck: Magnecord

A bit off the posted subject but the best open reel tape deck I've ever had was a Magnecord 1024. All tubes, built like a tank with huge tape heads. I see one on eBay every now and then.

Never saw much use for cassette decks except to record for use in the car. Had plenty of models in the 70s but never liked them much.

Cheers,

David
