This is something that changes for me, but right now I'd say either Low by David Bowie or Goats Head Soup by the Rolling Stones.

The best TV show soundtrack I've ever heard, bar none, full stop.
 
These 2 CDs have sat on top of my player for a decade or more and are the 1st & 2nd album on my McIntosh server ,theyve got elements of jazz ,funk ,rock ,modern orchestral,heavy metal and fusion ,all my favorite genres .


If not the Mother's of Invention then these cats below ,seeing them live at the US festival made me a lifelong superfan like I am about FZ .


There's a hell of alot of inspiration in these 2 albums .
 
Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

I'm going to be a long time dead. I need to hear this as many times as possible in the interim, so if silence rears its ugly head, this goes on.
