From my previous list, the Polk S-4 are to be thinned. They are not worthy. Still have the rest in rotation.

So, what did you settle on? I think most people on AK have more than 3 sound systems, so I think you’re in the minority, but in a good way!

What is in my Signature line, Duevel Venus omnidirectional. I think I am in the minority in many ways here! In the past I have typically owned a couple of systems, none vintage, and typically had a few speaker pairs in general. These days I am much more satisfied with one very good system and no urge to shift things around! It is all good, we all have different opinions, different goals, but ultimately, hopefully, it is about enjoying the music our system(s) bring to our ears and soul!

I've got a pair of Synergistics S-42a. They're easily one of my favorite speakers, talk about a small manufacturer [late 70s/early 80s] that's flown under the radar. How are those S-72s?

Finding a place e to store your speakers and other gear is not that bad really. You would be surprised at how much gear you can fit into a 12' x 12' room stacked floor to ceiling.

The real problem is trying to pack it properly for a move!

I know they're not well thought of - but they are in my "never sell" pile. One of the few speakers I own that actually puts a smile on my face! Not sure what it is but they just sound right to me.
