Yes, it is a little better that way, thanks for checking back with me. Now, I have another problem - my SDA isn't working in my left speaker now. Won't be able to troubleshoot that until the weekend. I haven't had my system running for 10 years so there's a little maintenance and TLC that is needed. Thank you again for your help!

That's unusual. Are you using the Aux input?

OK, thanks. Haven't been able to find it locally but can always order online. I have this lubricant by Deoxit, will this work just as well?

Well, got it fixed but it looks like the output volume control needs to be replaced. It was working but full of static so I hit it with some deoxit and now the sound is horrible. Got it to work in one position and left it and it worked great for about a week and went back to the muffled static.
