Hello Folks, I need help figuring out how to remove/replace a lamp mounted in solid plastic as pictured below. I tried wiggling it out by pulling it with a needle nose pliers but its not budging. The amp is a SAE Two Power Amp. Any ideas?
If the bulb is bad, and you must replace it, i think the less destructive method would be to cut the wire and drill the holes again from the back on the remaining wire.
That is what I would do, too. Cut the wires and with new bulb in hand decide if you want/need two holes for the wires or one larger hole for the bulb with wires and then drill/cut that hole in the housing. Might need a dab of glue to hold the bulb in place since the original looks well recessed. hopefully the replacement is as small.
