I picked this up for $200. It is my first open reel deck so am not too sure how to evaluate it. I own a portastudio so am somewhat familiar with multi-track recordings.
Do I plug the "output" from the model80 into the "Tape in" or Access Rcv? If I plug into Rcv then I can hear recorded tracks by pressing the "SOLO" button. But I can't seem to pan or mix them with other tracks. If I use the "Tape In", then I can not hear anything no matter what I press on the mixer!
