I see this all the time when browsing threads is it a setting on my CP or browser?
Or is on the OP 's end?
    Thanks

Photobucket have disabled 'free' external (picture) hosting and now want to charge for it, that graphic is used to replace a Photobucket hosted picture.... until its owner pays for it to show again.

or until they add this extension, ~original , to the end of the URL link.
    like this: photopuke.com_xy.jpg~orignal

once aded, it all comes back into view,... and for several months now, has stayed after adding the extension.

I've slowly been removing images from photobucket and deleting folders on their former "free" image hosting.

The only reason I used them was for anoninimity (no url trace back).

I use a browser extension to get those images back. The one I use for now is called "Photobucket Embedded Image Fix" (in Chrome). I figure anything we do, even browser extensions, will eventually be blocked by Photobucket, so I consider any fixes to be temporary.
