So I set them up on the top shelve, and they just stand there,,,,arent they supposed to do something?

I am not sure,,,I have a cheapo threadrodded DIY rack, and being a cynical SOB, I will need some time...

Oh,,,do you think it would work the same if I put the Darumas sandwiched between two MDF shelves, instead of directly under the CDP? the shelf on top would be smaller and free (not attached to the thread rod structure)
