I am absolutely livid right now. The second time I drive my truck after I get it running right, I hit a ****ing deer.
It wasn't even on a back road. It was on a main highway right outside of town. When I saw it, I got on the brakes. It was running away from me, so I let off the brakes. Then the brainless thing did a 180 and ran straight at the truck.
The front end is all smashed up now. It even managed to crunch in one of the old Mopar muscle car dog dish hubcaps I bought off Ebay.
I swear this truck is cursed. All of the odd problems, and last year some old geezer changed lanes too soon and hit the same fender. It wasn't bad, but I never even had a chance to fix that!
It's a damn good thing I put comprehensive insurance on it. What really sucks is that some of those front end parts are unobtanium unless I get used parts.
I would rather have been in mom's '15 Hyundai. It has full coverage, and plus extra coverage through Hyundai for anything that isn't covered through insurance. Or the rust bucket Ford Escape I've been driving. They would have just written it off and I would got a nice insurance check out of it. But NO, it had to be a vehicle I really like.
Ugh.
