I need to knoew something..

I see speakers tossed out on a regular basis. I normally do not pick these up, because the foam surrounds are usually wasted on the dirives, or a similar problem. But lately, i've seen some of you talking about getting speakers that needed the surrounds replaced. Should I start picking these up? I KNOW I can't replace the surrounds. But, would these be something that other AK'ers may be interested in? If so, maybe I'll start getting them.

The answer depends on the brand name and model of speaker. Sometimes bad speakers can be well worth the time, and often very profitable as well. But I also see lots of Fisher and other brands of junk speakers that are not worth carrying home.
