Now I can see them. Are those the ones for $25.00? If so, I'd buy now and ask questions later!
Godspeed.

I want to say they are Refexion,s but they look to be a bit short. Wait for Glassman to chime in. I think it will be $25 well spent these are chock full of Vifa goodies.

afaik , no such thing as a craigslist auction.... "maybe he means best offer"

similar modern angstroms ,sell from $1299/pr to $3499/pr .....maybe he found out too
soon ,rather than too late?

Hi all,

Newbie here, just finally chiming in about something I might be famailiar with.

I believe what you have there is the model known as just the Angstrom "Reference". 2 way design with 8" woofer and 1" dome tweet all in walnut veneer cabinet.
The era would have been mid 80's and retailed around $800 Canadian per pair in it's time.

I've been a dedicated follower of the forum for a while and I'm hooked on the wealth of info and experience offered here. Figured it's time to dive into the mix as a relative greenhorn.

Cheers.

Chiming in late. cball is right. I have a set of the Reflexions which are a 2 1/2 way speaker (the second 8" woofer is crossed over at a higher frequency than the lower woofer). The Reflexions sound fantastic so I would assume the 2-way Reference would sound very good also.

Did you end up getting them?

Jay

We have a set that looks like they are a tad bit shorter than those and they have the word "image" on them. Can anyone tell us exactly what we have?

There was a similar model called the "Image" in the Angstrom line.
They were a step below the "Reference" of the OP and had vinyl wood wrap instead of real wood veneer.

Original Canadian MSRP was $795.
Freq.Resp. 37hz -20khz +- 2db
Max. Pwr. Handling 100w
8 Ohm
