I like that the photo of the QLS1 is the version I have. Most of the advertising photos I've seen have the wood baffle. The drivers sure have a bright gloss shine on them.

I actually like it when you see a brochure and someone notes the price of a particular model or two.
Makes a connection of sorts to the original shopper.

I agree. FWIW, I paid $220 ea. for mine back in '78 or so. They listed for over $300 if I recall and were the best sounding speakers I could afford at the time so I jumped on 'em. Sure glad I did too, even though they have been a pain at times when moving.
