Infinity Prelude Composition PFR subs not working fixed!

If you notice your sub on the prelude pfr isn't working it could be a simple fix. I spend 2 days troubleshooting one, then the other, then both subs not playing after getting a new AVR/preamp. I kept thinking that I had the AVR set up wrong or my amps to the speakers were bad or blah blah blah. So after two days I figured out the little switch on the bottom that says Bass Min.Max intermittently on BOTH of my speakers was causing the problem. Switching it back a forth a few times and wiggling it solved the issue on both speakers. Just bad contacts on a switch that is practically never touched. I decided NOT to push my luck and didn't spray it with contact cleaner, but that is what I will do if they get glitchy again. And fail that I will take the switches apart. So frustrating, but happily simple in the end.

Occasional same issue here with the bass output switch.

I've been enjoying these for many years with a McIntosh 240. Hard to get rid of them.
