Thanks very much for the answer , specially about the Watkins web-site.
I'll start a new thread when the idea becomes more real... I was not thinking to expend so much in this first experiment, so I think to go for replacements, not Infinity parts, even for the Emits, to use some ribbon tweeters from other brand... and see what happens.
I should start with a smallest model, like Qjr or Quantum 5, or some without dual-drive woofers...

Thank you one and all for this wonder documentation. Remember reading about and wanting to own Strathern Ribbons. Decided to start with Magnepan. Then Carver. Next B&G 50 and 75s. A Martin Logan hybrid thrown in for fun. Eminent Technology rules in my opinion. Back to Magnepan now with the QR diaphrams. The Linkwitz Orion and lx521 demonstrate that cones have come a long way. What a wonderful hobby.
