The MA6900 is a *spectacular* amplifier - it is every inch a "Mac", and sounds as good as anything that I've ever heard in its power class.
It represents a terrific value, and is far, far superior to my old C-26 / MC2205 combination...there is absolutely no comparison.
Sam Tellig in "Stereophile" bought his review sample, and states that the autoformers could give the 6900 a tube-like quality. I may be biased, but to me, a McIntosh amplifier without autoformers is just another solid-state amplifier.
